Nyonya Cuisine

Living in Mlk ofcoz need to taste any Nyonya cuisine lo... One day, I accidentally found a food blogger that recommend a Nyonya Rest to us in Melaka... So, I can't miss to try it out wf my family... ;>

This rest named RiverRine which is stated bside de Mlk River.. nice view/scene.. ;p


Dis Rest have ala carte & dishes to serve with rice as well... tonite, we think to have dinner, so we tried de dishes..

1st Dish - Fried Chicken Wings, it's nice especially come with the sauce..


2nd Dish - Sweet Sour Fish, it's nice & crispy till the bond oso can eat together...


3rd Dish - Itik Tim soup, is our first tried so far... so there's no comment, is acceptable...


4th Dish - Fried sotong & sambal belacan... I felt de sotong not juicy & it's not match wf de sambal... i prefer to eat wf de fried chicken wings' sauce... ;p


5th Dish - Nyonya chap chai, which is a simple vege dish... taste is normal lo..


6th - Currypup, which is very xpensive @RM3/pc & felt that is normal only...


Lastly - My SIL said this is special, so I muz show it too... de flower shapes of rice.. hahaa.. :D


The whole meal with drinks costed RM90 which is worth for a try.. ;>

After dinner, we have some photo shooting... along riverwalk... & Famosa walk... which bring the fun for kids to see the lightings, boats, Famosa, etc.. ;>

My SIL was testing/playing with her new camera functions on that nite, so we are the "white mouse" ;D
