Nursary Parent-Teacher Day!

19 June was Nicholas's nursary given report card day... which to meet up with parents to know more abt our kids character/improvement in the daily learning...

Teacher's comments:-

1. He is easily to get into the group while any activities compare to newly joined in the class at the bginning of the year.. (due to Nicholas not familiar + scare of this teacher who is more strict n fierce compare to 3 yrs old teachers.. haha..) & his english communication is improving a lot in btwn 1 mth (I felt as the teacher is english educated, so childrens have no choice.. haha..) ;>

2. He like to kpc around while others student is busying settle the work in the class, then he will finish his own work with messy at the end due to short of time... (e.g. colouring, which is damn lauzy while teacher ask them to colour in the class, due to he kpc ppl's art work here n there, then teacher ask to pass up tht time he only simply colour of his own paper...) *fainted*

3. He like to ask a lot of questions... Y like dis, Y like dat.. until the teacher oso got surrendered and question him back Y his name Nicholas, Y he is a Boy, Y, Y, Y.. until he surrender himself.. hahaha.. ;D (which is happened at home too till daddy everytime will ask him don ask Y anymore, asked u to do then act it... now we are facing back de answer from him if we ask him Y... ;<)

4. He is very lazy/not so sensitive to recognise english words as everytime need to repeat his reading... & teacher found tht when repeating the same sheet, he like "hafal" liaw, instead of recognise de words... ;<

5. His spelling of Bahasa is quite good "B-a Ba, B-u Bu" etc... but at home he will not practise it to me, so I'm not sure how truth it is... ;p

6. His chinese words recognition is good.. which I agreed too, might be easily to recognise for word by word gua.. hehee... Every after Chinese Class, dis teacher will ask them wht words they learn on that day... (as Chinese was teaching by the other teacher), he is the one very actively to teach her... ;D (@_@ aih, kpc oso la... apa lagi??)

7. His matematic was ichibang!! haha.. which I noticed too.. as i have no worries for his matematic homework, including writing... *Lol* His calculation was good, but the method of count one by one... so, will put him to Kumon Mathematic / abacus-mental arithmetic in next year which is known as brain-speed counting or fast mental math.(due to this year wanna let him learn piano which he is more interested & swimming class to firm up his lung problem)

8. He like dancing & swimming activities in the class... in this year concerts, he will be stand in the front line, due to he very daring & dance well... which he everyday oso practicing at home to show me... ;p (the song was In my Head from Jason Derulo, so hot!! I even downloaded in my hp to let him practise at home.. ;D)

Conclusion, he is improving a lot in his characters & studying from semester one to two.. as shown in the report card too... I believe this teacher won't cheat herself n me on wht's her comments due to she is very strict & responsible to the students... Thumb up & Thank you to Teacher Lee.. ;>

Comments from me to Teacher (haha.. let teacher know him well too at home):-

1. He don like to tell us wht's he has done & learn from the school, tht's y i need to observe him everytime from his action & talking... ;<

2. Teacher message everytime din get to deliver to me if pass by Nicholas, we wondering he is forgetful / don wan to tell us.. ;<

3. At home was no manners.. like to fighting... lazy.. have problems to let him writting & reading... etc etc...

His teacher will try to advise/train him well during class... ;p

He is very "ham bao" (in hokkien, meaning like to cry) nowadays as i mentioned in my earlier blog.. When his teacher n myself was complaining abt him.. he sit aside wf eyes wet liaw... *O.o..* then his teacher told him that if he is good, ofcoz teacher will praise.. if not, sure have to tell mommy n daddy... if not how he will improve.. then teahcer requested a hug wf him n wipe his tears & mucous only he diam... (such a naughty boy oso will scare when come to such situation... dunno izzit acting... next time can become actor la.. ;<)

After that, we brought him to find the piano course.. he was so excited all the way (kids happy feeling can see from their action & face... so cute!!), when reached there, the teacher brought us around to understand more details.. he have started can't control himself wanna start it... so, end up we signed de course in this INote which we found it is de better course for his starting.. called computer music (if not mistaken). Will blog more details after his class start on 4th Jul.. ;>

Happy Father's Day 2010!

Every yr of father's day, I will bring my kids to buy a simple cake for daddy... I hope it would make it as a culture to our kids... (not like daddy treat mother's day as normal to ME.. ;<)

This year, I chose a small cake which is juz nice for him n the kids... This character means 'Papa is our Ultraman, Protect us forever & ever'... ;>



Any festival, Nicholas's teacher has a culture to prepare something for memorize same goes to Mother's & father's day.. ;> He brought this card back from nursery & showed me that Teacher said this is for papa & have to wish papa "Happy Father's Day"... so warm!! But seems like papa din show any appreciation n special surprise while Nicholas handed to him... *hopeless dad* ;<

Nicholas & Marcus...

Recently, my two bao beis are very 'sot' wf Alvin & then Chipmunks movie, they learning the songs, dances & words from the 3 squirrels.. ;p Even myself oso been attracted!! ;p So, I had sourced the CDs to play in the car from Singapore as I can't find it from whole Mlk's CD shops... Marcus is the one damn like it.. even he is sleeping while i put him in the car in the morning, he still will blur blur n shout "alvin, alvin, alvin" (means i have to on Alvin's song.. ;p) then he will wake up & dance (shake head, body & backside) & play guitar (acting saja)... *slap forehead* He can even follow the song to sing, but ofcoz dunno wht he sing la... coz he even speak oso we can't understand him.. ;D

Marcus quite keen in writting & reading... he can catch up things very fast.. (although look stun stun.. ;D) such as: Up & down, Tall & short, shapes, colours (remember well of yellow only), animals, etc... He like to hold pen for writting, but have to bcareful that he will write anywhere instead of paper/book... some of the bedsheet & wall were gone for his conteng... ;<

Marcus couldn't stop wearing pampers during sleep... coz even he pee till whole body wet, oso can sleep like death pig.. *fainted* In the midnite, sometimes will shout to take off.. but we still not allowed him to do so... as we (papa & mama) oso would like to have a good sleep instead of keep awaking ourself to bring him to pee... ;D

Marcus started to spoon feed meals by himself.. ofcoz will mess up the table + his shirt, but as long i can njoy my meal too, then no harm oso rite?? juz do lil bit clean up ma... ;p He oso able to hold cup (no matter glas type / plastic type) for drinking well on his own.. Good Boy!!

Spoon feed by himself no matter is noodles / rice.. proud of him!!!



Nicholas having Maths & Alphabet homeworks from school every weekend... We are still headache to teach him writting... Almost surrender everytime!! ;< He needs to be shouted then only will remember the way of writing.. he need to be shouted only will write the next word... ;< Nicholas oh Nicholas.. when u will be more independant!!! Teaching kids really need tactic, we have to know the way & their interest to attract him.. especially "hardcore" person like Nicholas... I pray hard he will change in future... ;< But his artwork improving (due to papa's hardwork.. keke..), he like to colour 1 object wf few colours while for mommy is one object one colour which end up he will feel the colouring not interesting.. ;p Papa agreed me to send him for some classes during weekend, so we let him choice either musical or colouring class.. but surprisingly he chose musical class. One day, we passed by a musical learning shop, we step in to ask some question before decided, till today he still waiting for us to send him for piano course, as he is asking frequently that when he can go n learn piano 'ding ding ding' (wf de fingers acting like playing piano, so cute!! ;p), sometimes he will say he wanna learn guitar which is not suit to his age yet oso... ;p Nicholas, sorry for having a lazyness parents, will do it for u sooooon yea!!! ;>

Nicholas very "ham bao" (like to cry).. i wondering izzit due to my pregnancy?? But he alr aged of 4 leh... still got such 'pantang' meh.. ;< headache la...!! He likes to fight for anything with Marcus, no matter how we convince him, he oso won't listen.. till papa get angry lo... only he will scare a while (abt 1min la.. hehe..) ;p Papa oso headache with him liaw... ;<

Nicholas was in 2 weeks school holidays.. dis holidays nothing special for him as he still go to nursery as usual, while we are working too.. due to I can't plan any outing for him as my due date is around the corner... ;p So, let's wait for my 2 mths confinement holiday only schedule a day to replace la.. ;p

Nowadays, Papa "sot" abt World cup... so, left me & bao beis bhind lo... most of the times we will accompany papa to watch until 9.30pm then bath for the two notties then straight away we went to bed... then papa cont to njoy the match till late nite... oso due to lack of love from us, Nicholas more stick to my mom... even midnite so dark of the whole hse (as he normaly scared dark), if he found my mom not with him in our room, he will run to her room to sleep wf her... but my mom too pampered him till spoiling him, then make me & papa oso like to scold him bcome he lagi not close to us... very headache!!! ;<

Mother's Day 2010

Mother's day again.. dis yr, there's nothing surprise for me, except Nicholas brought back his handcrafting done in school to me (but oso helping more by teachers de la..) ;p



The day before Mother's day was Marcus Bday Party.. we have tired for the arrangments & entertaining.. while 2nd day, rush to celebrate mother's day wf my MIL & me (i think so.. ;<) in Tang Shi Fu Rest. in New JJ, Mlk...

The food there was quite delicious & healthy.. We made a correct chose again!! ;>
(The food we ordered, costed RM210.+)

Happy 2nd Bday, Marcus!!

Yay, Marcus is 2yo today!! We celebrated his 2nd bday with families & some friends in McDonald, The Store Mlk...

Dis was the first celebration for Marcus due to the 1st bday "pantang-larang" of grand-grandma passed away, so we juz makan-makan in the rest. without cake... so dis yr, we chose de unforgettable bday celebration for him... ;>

Dis yr, no cake cutting for him, juz blowing.. as I ordered the cupcake types wf mickeys & minnies cartoon on top... he was excited while we went to collect the cupcakes... it's special & taste still acceptable la...

We took the Package B in the Mcdonald, and xtra ordering for ala carte. Ofcoz, kids will not excluded to have a Happy Meals for each of them with new toys launching of "Shrek" inside.. ;>

The programme/games arranged by the coordinator were great.. n she was very friendly n caring to all the kids, especially bday boy... ;p She will in-charge of the safety in the playground for all the kids, while parents could enjoy their meal during the party... I felt that it was a great decision i'd made for dis bday party.. :D

Playing games.. but xcluded bday boy, as he is still young for the games and he was not interested on tht nite except de slide.. ;p

The nite we bz wf the friends & relative, playing games together & entertaining .. while kids were enjoying themselves in da playground.. after all, around 10.30pm we packed, 'clap-clap' our backside and go back.. How wonderful, no cleaning, no packing, no headached on the wasted food for me.. ;D

Anyway, Thanks for all de presents n angpows from frens & relative.. Hope all have a wonderful nite in Marcus bday Party!!! ;>
